How do I sign up for an Imprint tour?
Each website tour page has a link to WeTravel, our online registration and payment providers. There you can pay the $600 per person deposit and complete the registration form.

In case you haven’t read our Terms and Conditions carefully, we would like to repeat the importance of purchasing trip insurance. Please Note: Travelex Insurance Services plans are only available to U.S. Residents and/or Citizens. Please Note: To be eligible for a waiver of the pre-existing medical condition exclusion, the protection plan must be purchased within 21 days (Travel Select) or 30 days (Travel Max) from the time you make your initial trip deposit. However, plans can be purchased any time up to two weeks prior to departure.

Are deposits refundable?
Deposits are refundable for 30 days from receipt. After 30 days they are nonrefundable.

What is Imprint’s cancellation policy?
Tour cancellations are allowed without penalty (excepting deposit) until the final payment deadline of 90 days before tour commencement, with the exception of EPD payments. After the final payment deadline 100% of funds paid are nonrefundable.

What is your Early Payment Discount (EPD) policy?
An Early Payment Discount (EPD) is awarded for full payment 8 months prior to tour commencement (final date of availability is set and posted for each eligible tour; not available on all tours; not available on extensions). $400 of the EPD payment is non-refundable. $1000 of the EPD payment is nonrefundable if no deposit has been paid. In the event of cancellation, the remainder of the early final payment is refundable until the standard final payment deadline, after which time 100% of funds paid are nonrefundable.

When is final payment due?
For those not taking advantage of the EPD, final payment is due 90 days prior to tour commencement. The EPD deadline and final payment deadline is stated on each tour’s website page.

Is the price per person?
Yes, all published prices are per person.

Are tips included?
Yes, all tips are included on all Imprint tours.

Are flights included?
Transportation to and from Imprint tours is not included. Any internal flights (flights during the tour) are included.

Are airport transfers included?
No, airport transfers are not included.

Will I have to carry my own bag during the tour?
Yes. Always.

How physically demanding are Imprint tours?
Imprint tours are physically demanding. They include a lot of walking, including hills, steps, and other uneven terrain, and require a reasonable level of fitness. If you are unsure of your ability to keep up, please inquire for further clarification at info@imprinttours.com.

How adventurous are Imprint tours?
The adventurous elements of our tours may include activities such as bicycle rides, overnight trains, riding camels, snorkeling, staying in floating guesthouses, climbing in and out of boats and non-Western forms of transportation. If you are unsure of your abilities, please inquire for further clarification at info@imprinttours.com

How much money do I need during the tour?
While the amount varies from tour to tour, usually $40-$70 per day is sufficient for independent meals, souvenirs, and free time activities. Some of Imprint’s destinations are more expensive and may require more.

How do I stipulate I want to participate in a tour’s optional extension?
During the registration process you will have the opportunity to identify your intention to participate in an extension, if one is offered.

How do I stipulate I want a single supplement?
During the registration process you will have the opportunity to register as a Single Traveler. The Single Traveler package is pre-priced to include the Single Supplement.

As a single traveler, if I am willing to share, can I avoid the Single Supplement?
For those willing to share, Imprint Tours will attempt to arrange a same-gender roommate, and if so, the Single Supplement is waived. If a roommate cannot be found, you will be required to pay the Single Supplement.

Does Imprint Tours assist in making pre- or post-tour hotel or activity arrangements?
No, Imprint does not assist in making pre- or post-tour hotel reservations. Nor does Imprint assist in pre- or post-tour activity arrangements.

How will I know the first and last hotel on the tour?
First and last hotels for each tour are identified during the registration process, as well as on the tour’s website itinerary page.

How can I assure being able to stay in the same hotel room if I have independently booked pre- or post-tour nights?
Imprint lists the hotel and room standard of each tour’s first and last hotels in the Registration Confirmation Letter.

When will I receive a hotel list for my tour?
Imprint lists each tour’s hotels on the website itinerary page. Rare exceptions are identified in the Deposit Confirmation Letter and/or the 8-week Letter.

When/how will I receive important tour details?
Many important details (those required for advance planning) are provided during the registraiton process. Additionally, Imprint sends an email (8-Week Letter) with important final details 8 weeks prior to the tour’s commencement.

Does Imprint provide packing advice?
A suggested packing list is included in the 8-Week Letter. But our overall advice is to PACK LIGHT! Pack for the best case scenario, not the worst.

Does Imprint provide vaccination advice?
No. Due to liability concerns Imprint Tours does not give vaccination advice. Please refer to CDC guidelines or consult your local Travel Clinic.

Does Imprint assist with acquiring Passports and Visas?
Imprint does not assist with acquiring passports or visas. However, for countries that require an advance visa, and for those travelers who prefer to procure their visa in advance, we recommend I-Visa.

Does Imprint suggest travel insurance?
YES! While we cannot require you to have travel insurance, we STRONGLY urge all or our travelers to purchase travel insurance.

Can Imprint accommodate my dietary needs during the tour?
Imprint will make every attempt to assist you in accommodating your medically relevant dietary needs. Although we cannot guarantee lifestyle choice food accommodations, every reasonable attempt will be made to support your needs.

Will there be laundry facilities available during the tour?
While the availability and cost of laundry varies greatly from tour to tour, facilities are always available at some point during the tour.

Is smoking allowed?
Imprint tours are non-smoking tours. You are not allowed to smoke in the hotels, during group activities, or any time you are with the group.
