Antarctica 2026-27

Imprint has adapted our travel approach to cruises. As with all cruises, after check-in you will be able to unpack once and settle into your cabin for the entire trip with all meals included. As you expect from us, the cruise includes ALL scheduled excursions and guides. Typically, an Imprint tour is a bit more expensive due to the extra inclusions, but in this case we are able to offer this cruise for a price considerably less than competitors. We’ve partnered with Antarctica 21 and in 2026 we’ll be sailing on the elegant Magellan Explorer. In 2027 our vessel will be the brand new Magellan Discoverer. Additionally, our cruise features buffet breakfasts and lunches and three main course choices at dinner. Included at no extra cost: wine, beer, juice and soft drinks with lunch and dinner; coffee, tea, chocolate, water and snacks throughout; insulated/waterproof boots for shore excursions; and lectures on board.

Day 1 Ushuaia, Argentina | Embark 3/26/2026 & 3/11/2027
Our journey begins in Ushuaia, Argentina. We’ll board the Magellan Explorer and sail along the Beagle Channel towards Antarctica. Boarding between 15:00 and 16:00.

Days 2-3 At Sea | Drake Passage 3/27-28/2026 & 3/12-13/2027
We sail towards Antarctica, crossing the famous passage named for Sir Francis Drake, the 16th century British explorer. As we sail en route to the South Shetland Islands you may opt to attend the program of lectures and presentations. With access to expert guides, we’ll watch for wildlife from the glass-enclosed lounge or from the outside decks. After crossing the Antarctic Convergence, the vista changes noticeably as we begin to see icebergs and, eventually, the first sight of Antarctic land.

Days 4-7 Explore Antarctica 3/29 - 4/1 2026 & 3/14-17/2027
We will be sailing between the South Shetland Islands and the western coast of the Antarctic Peninsula, viewing ice-filled fjords and spectacular icebergs, while enjoying the company of sea birds, penguins, seals, and whales. From the ship we’ll enjoy spectacular views from the glass-enclosed lounge while sharing our daily adventures. No journey is the same - flexibility is the key to success in Antarctica. The Expedition Team sets the voyage route to take advantage of the ever-changing opportunities provided by nature, crafting a unique and extraordinary experience each time. Possibilities include Paulet Island, Hope Bay, Port Lockroy, Petermann Island, Paradise Bay, Deception Island, the Lemaire Channel, or many others. Each day we’ll disembark by Zodiac to explore the environment with expert polar guides. Between we’ll have the options of lectures and leisure time enjoyed on board.

Day 9-10 At Sea | Drake Passage 4/2-3/2026 & 3/18-19/2027
We return to South America with a northbound crossing of the Drake Passage. Relax and take the time to watch for wildlife or take part in the presentations on Antarctic topics in the lounge.

Day 11 Ushuaia | Disembark 4/4/2026 & 3/20/2027
After breakfast, disembark and begin your journey home.
