Tours

“The real discovery consists not in seeking out new landscapes, but in having new eyes.” Marcel Proust

Leadership and Experience

All Imprint Tours are led by Reid or Julie Coen who maintain the intention to provide responsible, education-oriented, passionate, and efficient leadership. Additionally, every tour benefits from local guides and escorts – to navigate and mediate the intricacies of local logistics.

Educational

Our tours, while not scholarly, do emphasize teaching. Our educational goal is an understanding of local culture and history sufficient to increase the enjoyment and engagement of our Tour Members and insure a positive imprint on our hosts.

Accommodations

Lodgings are chosen to best suit each destination: comfortable and centrally located in cities; atmospheric and simple in the national parks and village settings; and mid-range resort comfort for our relaxation stops.

Physically Demanding and a Tight Ship

The physical nature of the sights we visit and getting off the beaten track make our tours vigorous and physically demanding. Tour Members are required to carry their own bags. To maximize efficiency and free time, and out of respect for each other, our tours run on time.
